# Accelerometer - Data visualization

## **Amplitude of Accelerations**

This graph illustrates the trend of Acceleration Amplitude recorded across three axes, expressed in millig-force (mg). The Amplitude of Acceleration is determined by the difference between the maximum and minimum values observed in each individual data acquisition. Each point on the graph corresponds to a specific acquisition.

## Number of Acquisitions

This chart displays the number of acquisitions performed by the sensor over time. The number of acquisitions is the sum of the events detected both through threshold sampling and through scheduled sampling.

## Temperature

The chart illustrates the temperature variation measured by the sensor over the selected time range.

## Acceleration Waveforms

This graph shows the waveform of vibrational acceleration over time, recorded along three axes and expressed in millig-force (mg). The graph corresponds to a selected event, represents a vibration detected by the sensor and is displayed as a waveform that superimposes the accelerations for each axis. These events have variable durations depending on the chosen sampling rate.

## Acceleration Frequency Responses

This chart displays the frequency response of the acceleration waveforms measured on three axes.

It uses the FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) algorithm to calculate the Fourier transform of the acceleration waveforms. This algorithm allows for the visualization of the spectral content of the accelerometric signals and helps identify the dominant frequencies in the structural oscillations.

## Acquisition List

The “Acquisition List” table displays a list of data samples collected by the sensor over a specific time interval. Individual acquisitions can be selected to view detailed “Acceleration Frequency Response” and “Acceleration Waveform” in the graphs above.

{% hint style="info" %}
The Pk-Pk value in the table represents the peak-to-peak acceleration amplitude, which is also shown in the “Acceleration Amplitudes” graph in the ‘Trends’ section.
